She is currently a freelance orchestra musician in the Greater Washington D.C. area. Although well-grounded in the classical world, she has long been fascinated by improvised music genres. Performing in a wide variety of styles over the years ultimately led her to the jazz world, the sounds of Svend Asmussen and Stephane Grappelli.
